Armed Forces Modernization

Lt. Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo is a dedicated advocate for the modernization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), leveraging her deep-rooted experience in implementing vital infrastructure projects in conflict-affected areas. Prior to her role as a reserved official in the Philippine Army, Anna Mae worked alongside the AFP, recognizing the integral role that infrastructure development plays in the country's peace-building efforts. She firmly believes that the construction of roads and the efficient delivery of social services are crucial in fostering stability and progress in regions affected by armed conflict. Furthermore, during the challenging times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Anna Mae collaborated with the AFP in establishing and operating makeshift COVID-19 health facilities, which provided critical care to patients with varying degrees of severity due to the shortage of hospital beds during the early stages of the pandemic. Her unwavering dedication to the AFP's modernization and her commitment to serving the country in times of crisis exemplify her profound dedication to the well-being and security of the Filipino people.
